What should I check before booking armed security classes near me

Quick answer: Armed security in Florida requires a Class G license: 28 hours of firearms training with 8 hours on the range (Florida Statutes 493.6105), annual requalification and employment under a licensed Class B agency. Armed posts fit cash-handling, high-value inventory and elevated-risk sites; unarmed Class D officers fit gates, lobbies and patrols.

Global Security — SECURITY SERVICES Here is the short answer, and what the team puts in writing before any work starts.

Choose the Right Training

Before booking armed security classes near you, confirm which service fits your needs, such as armed or unarmed guard services, weapons training, or another listed security training class. Global Security provides training options that include pistol, shotgun, rifle, Class D, and Class G instruction.

Ask About Training Options

Ask what the class covers, what participants should bring, and what arrangements are required before attending. Contact Global Security in Cape Coral at 239.217.0581 for information about available training and scheduling.

Review Your Security Needs

Consider the type of security work you want to perform and whether the training offered matches that goal. For patrol support, Global Security’s Roving Vehicle Patrol is designed to provide a strong visual deterrent through mobile patrol activity.
