This course will cover the full range of the basic principles of executive protection. The training days will last beyond eight hours, and some training days will last until the late evening hours.

- Business casual clothing (no jeans)

- Clothing appropriate for defensive tactics training and business clothing (slacks, jacket, tie and appropriate shoes) for the FTX
- A laptop computer is not mandatory, but would be beneficial to bring (for use in preplanning stages for the offsite FTX)

Individual Protection Specialist
In today’s fast-paced world, personal protection is in high demand. As an Individual Protection Specialist, the knowledge, skills and ability to work independently is of utmost importance. This course is designed for participants who have existing executive protection skills and desire advanced training in the executive and dignitary protection field as an Individual Protective Specialist. The training days will last beyond eight hours, and some training days will last until the late evening hours.
Aim
The graduate will be able to operate independently, providing protection to a principal in a low to medium threat environment. Students will learn advance training in the Executive and Dignitary Protection Field.

- Hearing and eye protection (clear)
- Cover shirt and civilian clothes (no army fatigues)
- Range uniform
- Flashlight
- Flashlight holder
- Clothing appropriate for climate and conditions
- A water bottle or other hydration system
- No cross-draw or appendix-carry holsters
Skill Prerequisites
GSGI Executive Protection or an approved basic and Advanced Executive Protection course.Participants MUST arrive well-trained with the handgun in order to keep up with the shot progression and attack on principal scenarios.

Advanced Executive Protection
This course is designed for participants who have existing executive protection skills and desire advanced training in the executive and dignitary protection field. Participants MUST arrive well-trained with a handgun in order to keep up with the shot progression and counterattack scenarios.
Aim
This course will build on the basic disciplines of protection, focusing on the hard skills that must be maintained in the profession in order to develop advanced skills.
